Vision

Our vision is the creation and maintenance of a first class range of healthy and recreational activities to serve all parts of the community of West Lancashire.

Scope

Serco Leisure Operating Limited acting as managing agents on behalf of West Lancashire Community Leisure Trust in partnership with West Lancashire District Council will work with the community and all relevant bodies including but not restricted to existing providers of relevant leisure and recreational activities, the Local and Parish Councils, County Council and potential funding partners to increase participation in physical activity 1% year on year.

Key Current Objectives

• To encourage participation of physical activity at all ages
• To create healthier communities
• To use the Trustees contacts to increase partnership working
• The development of the community who are socially or economically disadvantaged
• To promote equal access to the facilities
• To increase childhood activity levels and help reduce childhood obesity
• Energy conservation and reduction of waste
