Workout classes are a great way to achieve your health and fitness goals – complement your existing workout programme with a technique class or choose from a selection of classes to help you lose weight, tone up or simply feel great.
Utilizing the facilities available, the fitness professionals at West Lancashire will deliver courses and classes including Body Combat, Body Pump, Spinning, Yoga and many more, so there is always a class to suit you.
VIEW CLASS TIMETABLE
Aerobics A cardiovascular and toning workout session suitable for all levels. Includes a combination of moves for you to perform at your own pace though alternative high or low impact moves. A great way to burn calories and increase fitness levels.
Junior Gym The gym has been designed for children to exercise in their own environment on specific equipment that gives them a safe and a total body workout. The machines have an intuitive push button resistance selection with no seat setup adjustments and a low starting resistance.
Body Attack High intensity interval training class combining aerobics, strength, endurance and core stabililty. You will boost your strength, endurance and core stability as well as burning loads of calories.
Cardiac Rehab This programme offers stage 4 rehabilitation for GP referred and recovering patients. See staff for details.
Body Balance A class that blends mind and body and combines moves from yoga, tai chi and pilates to create a dynamic class set to music. The class is a great way to sample a bit of everything and a good way of sampling both Yoga and Pilates.
Studio Cycle A group cycling class to music using varied speed, resistance and style. You will blast tons of calories in a short time but at your own speed.
Body Combat Combines moves and stances from a range of self defense disciplines (karate, boxing and Tae Kwon-Do), into an energetic routine.
Pilates Loved by dancers and celebrities alike, it’s a system of slow precise exercise to stretch and strengthen muscles.
Body Jam Melting pot of Hip Hop, Funk, Latin and Disco in a studio environment with the latest up to date tunes.
Yoga YOGA-Improve flexibility, static strength and body awareness. Incorporates varied methods like Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga. Hatha Yoga Classes may involve an element of hands on physical adjustment to ensure joints and muscles are aligned correctly.
Pump FX Weight training class set to music, using barbells and weights. It will tone and strengthen your entire body and increase your fat burning potential.
